Mullions is an en-suite twin bedded room.
The name “Mullions” comes from the mullioned window, an important feature of the room.

Dating back many hundreds of years, the window is quite remarkable. The window sill was not put in straight, and the stone dividers were of such uneven lengths, that part of one was cut off, to add to the one next to it! The result is a window that is uneven at the bottom, and even more uneven at the top. It even looks like the dividers were put in the wrong way round with the “T” shape pointing in, when it would normally point out.
The rounded chimney breast carried the smoke from the kitchen fire - now replaced by an AGA for that special home cooked breakfast.
